7 Spooky Fun Attractions to Enjoy with Your Teens this Halloween

Check out these 7 haunted attractions for teens and families to enjoy that won't break the bank

When it comes to Halloween, it seems the number of local events gets bigger and bigger each year. However, that means so does the cost of celebrating.

From costumes to candy, to scary props and Halloween decorations for the home, Halloween has become one of the most expensive holidays for American families to celebrate. And for families with multiple children, these costs can add up quickly.

While trunk or treats and fall festivals are usually great for younger children and their families, our teens are also looking for things to do over the weekend from New Iberia to Morgan City that are not going to break the bank, or their parent's wallets.

As a mother to two teenagers, I decided to do some digging this week and found several attractions that are are free or low in cost for teens and their families to enjoy. Many of the attractions are being set up to support local community organizations like local food banks and the St. Jude Foundation, so it's a way to enjoy the weekend with your teens and give back to the community at the same time.

From New Iberia to Morgan City, here are local, free or low-cost haunted attractions to enjoy with your teens this October through Halloween night.
